Captain Mike welcomed us at the marina and gave a quick rundown of the boat and its safety features before we set out. With a cold front having just passed, I expected the fishing to be challenging. Mike was realistic about the conditions but confident he could find fish. Action didn’t start until dusk, but when it did, it was fast and steady, and he skillfully kept us on the bite. He communicated the plan throughout the trip and was great with the grandkids. Highly recommended.

We had perfect boating conditions on a sunny, calm day. Captain Fluffy set us up with an impressive fishing spread, and we quickly started marking plenty of fish. At first, the rods stayed quiet, but after adjusting the setup and moving to different depths—BANG—the fish started biting. This trip was a birthday gift for my 11-year-old granddaughter, and she had an amazing time, as did the rest of us. I’d gladly recommend Dahl Charter Fishing to anyone.

My wife and I had an amazing time fishing with Captain Mike this weekend! The morning started off a bit slow, but Mike worked hard to try different tactics until we found the fish—and it definitely paid off! He's incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and went out of his way to accommodate us when we had to shift our trip due to the weather. Three generations, six people ranging from 7 to 57 years old, and only one of us had fished before. Captain Mike and his first mate (his wife) were fantastic! They made the trip so enjoyable with great stories, jokes, and fishing—it felt like spending the day with friends. We’ll definitely be back for another trip in the future!

Captain Mike runs an excellent charter. Although the fish weren't biting that day, we still managed to land a nice salmon. Mike puts in a lot of effort and strives to make sure his guests have a great time. I had a wonderful day fishing with him, along with my wife and adult son.

Captain Fluffy was great about adjusting our departure time in the morning to take advantage of better weather, rather than just canceling. He kept us informed about the weather and fishing conditions and gave us the choice to decide whether to go or not. Thankfully, we went, and we had a fantastic time fishing!

Mike was an excellent captain today. The lake was a bit rough, and he gave us the option to cancel and get a refund if we weren’t comfortable. We decided to go ahead, and Mike worked tirelessly to get us on fish. He kept experimenting with different rigs, setups, and lures until he found the perfect combination for the conditions. We ended up catching some great Cohos, and Mike quickly filleted them for us.
